Project Valhalla character and concept art

Project Valhalla was another sci-fi/ cyberpunk comic book concept that I came up with. Project Valhalla is a story about a dystopian world filled with constant hate and war. In this universe, humans learned to control dying human conciseness to a whole new level, creating an unlimited and un-disposable number of soldiers to fight someone else's never-ending war. At the same time, other people live out their lives in bliss. With unlimited resources, humans didn't need to reproduce their population. But that didn't stop their greed for wanting power over something. Because of this greed, there are now only two nations, and both want the planet for themselves. To settle this dispute, a war was declared between the two sides. Both sides wanted the same goal but wanted to achieve it differently.

War was officially declared in 2056 when the Russian and Chinese governments invaded Europe, creating The Red Union (R.U). Because of this, the United States formed a new nation with the rest of the immigrant European countries, founding the Global United States (G.U.S) to fight against dictatorship. Things really took a turn when the Russian and Chinese bloodlines started fighting over the power of The Red Union. The war lasted for centuries, with no end to this bloodshed. Until 3100, when both sides discovered a way to make reusable soldiers with the new tech, they called these soldiers Subterfuges. With this new way of warfare, both sides agreed to withdraw all of their forces and decided that the best way to determine who controlled Earth was through a game of chess on Earth with Subterfuges as pawns. With that, both sides abandoned Earth and migrated to space, living in space stations while sending down Subterfuges to fight on Earth.
